Bring your four-legged family members along for adventure! 2 Bears Retreat welcomes up to two small, well-trained dogs (under 25 lbs) with a nightly pet fee. Take advantage of the nearby dog park and pet-friendly trails for daily walks and playtime. After exploring, relax together at your private fire pit or cozy up indoors. Please be aware that only dogs are allowed (no other pets) and that size restrictions and fees apply. The Eagles Nest community is expanding, so you may hear some construction during the day, but there are many trails to enjoy with your pup.

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These are for member use only.
  • A Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front door and views the parking area.

Policies and Rules

  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. The person making the reservation must sign the agreement and be one of the persons staying at the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking inside the home.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March). Travelers visiting during the winter months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle. Chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Fees and Payments

  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the facilities and features in the development.
  • This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (dogs must be 25 pounds or less each) with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is provided.
  • The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November–March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • High-speed internet is available, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, please visit: Off Road Adventures.
  • All kitchens are well stocked with utensils and cooking basics. A starter set of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few dishwasher detergent tablets, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one or two nights. Hair dryers are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • A Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front door and views the parking area.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present in the home.

Community and Area Notes

  • Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am–7pm Monday through Sunday.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests. No charge for guests as of June 2022. Subject to change without notice.
  • Eagles Nest Winery: All visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.

Discount and Special Offers

  • OFF-PEAK SPECIAL: Stay longer than the minimum number of nights and automatically receive a 5–15% discount, excluding holidays.
  • Returning guests of 2 Bears Retreat may receive a 5% discount. Not to be combined with other discounts.
